Harcourts Foundation

We had the pleasure this morning of meeting with Harcourts NSW CEO Katrina Tarrant, Harcourts Northern Rivers Managing Director Natalie Leslie and and Director, Steve Leslie. We are extremely grateful for the Harcourts Foundation’s generous grant which has enabled us to provide a very special Keynote Speaker at the Lismore Women’s Festival. As we acknowledge the young people in our community have been through a lot over the past few years we have chosen presenter Ashani Dante who founded The Flourish Journey (formerly Flourish Girl) a charity focused on promoting mental health for teenage girls and gender diverse teens. We welcome all young women and gender diverse teens to come along to the Southern Cross University at 12:30pm on Friday, 8 March to watch Ashani’s presentation.

Representatives from headspace Lismore and Resilient Kids will be present during this time.

Bookings can be made via this Humantix link: https://events.humanitix.com/lismore-women-s-festival

We look forward to seeing you there.

Acknowledgement of Country

Women’s Health Northern Rivers acknowledges the Widjabul Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and play.

We pay deep respect to Elders past and present, and honour the leadership of emerging Elders.

We extend our respect to all Bundjalung clan groups, and recognise the ongoing cultural and spiritual connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country – land, waters and sky.

We especially acknowledge the Bundjalung women who continue to care for Country, and the knowledge, wisdom and stories they share.

We are grateful to live and work on this land, and remain committed to walking together towards better health and social outcomes.
