Reclaim the Night

Join the Northern Rivers community on Thursday 15 October 2026 for Reclaim the Night Lismore, a powerful annual event that brings people together to stand against violence and support the safety, dignity and equality of women.

Since 1988, Reclaim the Night has been a longstanding tradition in Lismore, providing an opportunity for the community to unite in solidarity, honour the experiences of victim-survivors, and advocate for a future where all women and girls can live free from violence, harassment and fear.

Held at The Quad, Lismore, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, the evening will feature host Mandy Nolan, keynote speaker Madeleine West, local speakers Beth Hamilton (Zonta) and Marnie Davis (Women Up North Housing), and a community march led by the dynamic percussion group Repercussion.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free community event and be part of a collective call for safer, more respectful communities. Together, we can honour the legacy of Reclaim the Night and continue working towards a future free from gender-based violence.
